Gruppo Gamma pioneered the use of lume-infused forged carbon dials in sandwich dial construction. Instead of using two metal plates, the top plate is made of forged carbon, with the indices precisely cut out. The recessed markers on the bottom plate are filled generously with Super-LumiNova of the highest grade, and the two layers are secured by tiny bolts.

The forged carbon plates are infused with thin streaks of luminescent material, resulting in a marbled surface finish that glows in the dark. No two dials are alike.

A Tool Watch Done Right

Absolutely love this watch. The Vanguard AG-10 feels solid, well-built, and comfortable on the wrist. The 42mm cushion case wears better than expected, and the crown guard gives it a proper tool-watch character.
The forged carbon sandwich dial is the real highlight, the lume is absolutely crazy and easily one of the best I’ve seen.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with it. Fantastic design, great specs, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Superb Design and Workmanship

Gruppo Gamma has outdone themselves with this superbly designed and crafted Vanguard watch. The aged steel case gives the entire watch a unique retro vintage and patina. The crown and guard add to the superb styling and solid feel of this excellent watch. The forged carbon dial with its own subtle lume and the lume on the hands, markers and numerals are a most pleasing night effect. The craftsmanship of the high quality, vintage leather watch strap with aged steel buckle adds further appeal this outstanding watch. The watch movement and sweep is very smooth and the watch is keeping very good time.
This watch was a gift from my Wife for our Anniversary. Gruppo Gamma’s customer service deserves a special compliment for their professionalism and courtesy. And the watch was received very timely and well packaged in a nice case.
