Product Information
What movements do you use in your watches?
We primarily utilize reliable, high-beat mechanical movements known for their durability and ease of service. Many of our current collections feature the Miyota 9 series or Swiss Sellita automatic movements.
How do I care for a bronze watch case?
Many of our timepieces use CuSn8 marine-grade bronze. Over time, this material will develop a natural patina - a darkening of the metal caused by oxidation.
- To accelerate patina: Expose the watch to humid environments or salt water.
- To clean patina: Use a mild solution of lemon juice or a specialized bronze cleaning cloth to restore the original luster.
What is the water resistance of my watch?
Water resistance ratings vary by model, typically ranging from 100m (10 ATM) to 300m (30 ATM).
- Important: Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before any water activity. We do not recommend wearing leather straps in water; please switch to a rubber or NATO-style strap for swimming.
Warranty & Repairs
What does the warranty cover?
Every Gruppo Gamma timepiece comes with a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects in the movement, case, and dial. It does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or unauthorised third-party modifications.
Can I have my watch serviced locally?
Yes. Because we use widely recognised mechanical movements, most professional watchmakers will be able to perform routine servicing or regulated adjustments.
Straps & Accessories
What is the lug width of my watch?
Most Gruppo Gamma models utilise a 22mm or 24mm lug width. This allows for a wide range of aftermarket strap options. Please check the specifications section on your model’s product page for the exact measurement.
How do I change the strap?
Most of our cases use thick spring bars for added durability and security. Each watch typically includes a multi-tool. We recommend placing the watch face-down on a soft cloth to avoid scratching the crystal or bezel while changing straps.
