VENTURO Field Watch GMT - Quadrante Nero Lume Blu

I bought this Venturo GMT as a gift for my son! He travels so the GMT function is useful for him. I have purchased so many watches from these brands because I love their style and their reputation for quality and great value for my money.

This is my second Gruppo Gamma watch. This Venturo Field III was purchased last week, and upon arrival, I was really impressed with the clean, symmetric dial. BGW9 did not disappoint, and was useful throughout the night. I shave it now on a black Marine Nationale style elastic strap, because I find those more comfortable for extended use. The drilled lugs makes it very easy to swap out straps too, if you want to match to your clothing, but black seems to go well with everything anyway. As for the accuracy - it may have taken a sharp jolt during shipment from Singapore, though, as I noticed that the beat error was at 0.8 upon arrival. After regulation, though, the watch has been keeping time better than expected. It is at under +6 spd, which is phenomenal for an NH38A movement, and I am hoping it will hold up. I am a happy customer.

I got this watch because the dimensions and cushion shape matched the panerai 40mm luminor, but obviously at a very different price point. I put the watch on a custom 22mm daluca vintage ammo strap and am extremely satisfied with how this looks. I knocked off a star only because I wish it came in more dial color options. I am not sure how many are looking for cushion-shaped watches that fit a wide strap, but this is by far the best I've seen under $4k.

It’s not easy to find a no-date GMT of any kind, but finding one that’s sturdy and good looking is a good deal.
As a former American Frogman, it’s very cool to find something connected to my Italian Frogman cousins.

Decided to purchase the Venturo line after owning several Gruppo Gamma. Was surprised with the great quality of the watch. Excellent addition to the collection.

Having paid a bit over US$300 (with discount), this watch feels so much more expensive than it sells for. I also purchased the new bronze PN-09 Peacemaker with the rubber strap, which is also a phenomenal value considering its Swiss caliber. I will definitely be purchasing more Gruppo Gamma timepieces as they become available.

Very high quality. Likey one of the best fit/finish standards you’ll find in any micro brand watch. Just look at the pictures and pay special attention to how the bracelet meets the case. That’s next level attention to detail. VERY high quality here.
